Children and Parents Having Fun From Tots to Tweens

Why Don’t You…?

9th to 18th March is National Science and Engineering week this year exploring ‘Our World in Motion’. To celebrate this Climbing Rainbows will be running a series of Try This At Home science and engineering experiments throughout next week.

Have a look at the British Science Association website for more ideas and to find an event near you. Science Sparks is a really good website devoted to science activities with children and is well worth a browse!

The National Science Museum holds daily events, shows, demonstrations and workshops enabling you to immerse yourselves in the fascinating world of science!

Other events in the coming week include:

St Patrick’s Day on Saturday 17th. A good excuse to get crafty with rainbows, leprechaun’s, pots of gold and shamrocks. You could hold a family Limerick writing competition or have a go at making Irish Soda bread.

Mothering Sunday on Sunday 18th. Why not make some of our lovely plant pots or some paper roses. Pop back next week when we will be showing you how to make bath bombs for science week which would make great Mother’s Day gifts!
